Thanks for all that. On my computer I have 2 excell files, one for the masters series year by year with all the winners and finalists (basically just a table), and then one which has how many each player has won, how many they've finalled in, and which ones it was for each. But this tells me a lot more. Thanks man.

this is a big *if*, but if Agassi were to somehow win Monte Carlo and Hamburg...he'd have ALL 9 TMS titles.

Imaging him having all 9 masters series, all 4 grand slams, and the olympic gold metal. I think it'd be a debately arguement that Agassi is the greatest player in tennis history. Right now, having 7 of the 9, and everything else...he has to be in the top 5.

Actually, there are not four grand slams. There are four majors. Agassi has won each of the four majors, but not a grand slam.

Yes I'd agree there are not four grand slams. There are four Grand Slam tournaments. But we know from context whether people are talking about a single tournament or the whole set.

However, if you're going to be that picky, so will I. There are no majors in tennis. There are four majors in golf. It's a golfing term, but often used in tennis, mostly by Americans, I'd say - I rarely hear it used where I live. But we'd understand what you mean ;)

PS Thanks for the stats, SonicSpeed. Nobody's gonna catch Andre for a long, long time.
