Nalbandian won two ams and made other four finals. He had to beat Federer in both of those titles where Davydenko was 3/3 and in his first title in Bercy 2006 He did beat good players but none great -Tursunov,Ancic and Hrbaty- and He didn't have to play Federer.

Yeah! Nalbandian got lucky whilst beating Nadal 6-4 6-0 in the Paris Final. At least Nalbandian doesn't completely choke when he sees Federer over on the other side of the net.

It's not about Davydenko. And besides, Davy fans do not have such an exaggerated estimation of Davydenko's abilites.

But, Nalbandian, who supposedly possesses Federer's talent, could not beat anyone in a slam in his best years (except Davydenko, blast!).

The other question: Since US Open (within 2 months), Davydenko beat Fed, Rafa (2 times), Djokovic, Del Potro, Verdasco, Gonzalez, Monfils, and Soderling (2 times).

David has a lot of problems to keep his game high and be consistent, thats a fact. But his peak is real high. He has proven it with relatively big feats. He has to proof himself on the slams, and I think he can do something about that next year.

You started all this sh** saying that nalbandian was lucky to win paris and madrid. My interpretation is that his abilities alowed him to beat the top3 twice, not luck. If we talk about luck, what can we say about davydenko? who won shanghai and the mc being two and a half years older? is that super luck?
