So my first year of tennis is now behind me. I got bumped from 3.0 to 3.5. Played singles against a computer rated 3.5 and won 6-1, 6-0. He was a young guy that hit hard and relied on hitting winners. It's hard to figure out if I'm a 4.0 or a 3.5.
I've played a left handed computer rated 3.5 earlier in the year and won 6-2, 6-0. I've also beaten three other 3.5s. Two of them easily and one in a close match 6-4.
Against 4.0 competition I've won 6-2, 6-0. Lost 4-6, 7-5, 8-10 in tiebreaker, and played a single set another guy and lost 6-4.
I feel like maybe i'm a high 3.5 and a low 4.0.
Based on my singles results, does this sound about right? Also, none of the singles matches were in USTA competition. All were social.
