Third entry US Open 2000 against Peter Wessels missing on your chart.
Looks like Fed himself forgot about it (after saving MPs against Monfils at the 2014 USO):

Afterward, Federer was still jazzed. He used the word "happy" eight times in postmatch news conference. "Over best of five," he said, "saving match points against Gael in an atmosphere that it was out here tonight, it's definitely very special. Not sure I have ever saved match point before in a Slam."

'Missing'? I've never seen that match mentioned on the list before. Any contemporary source? To my knowledge, it wasn't televised, so there's no way to check directly. I'm sceptical about this and would suggest @jm1980 not to add it until we have a reliable source or multiple sources.

I see this source is Italian so I guess Italian news could be scouted, bless their tennis tradition...

Here’s a source, an Italian interview with Wessels’:

He’s talking about burning a match point in the third.

Interesting stats. Fed is the GOAT of squandered match points. Nobody can match the quantity and the importance of his squanderings.
His collection includes lost matches at Wimbledon, AO an USO twice on each (6 slam matches including 1 lost final and 3 lost semifinals). You have M1000’s as well in the mix.
He only needs to have one match lost at the French Open after having match point to achieve a Career Grand Slam of Squandered MP’s.
He did not taint these wonderful stats coming back from match point down in any tournament finals.
Really impressive.

If my source is accurate, Fed achieved something very special today with his loss.

Only twice before has a player fallen victim to a M.P.(s) thief in a Wimbledon final who then went on to win.

In 1927 Henri Cochet stole 6 M.P's fromJean Borotra and won the Wimbledon Final.
In 1948 Bob Falkenburg stole 3 M.P's from John Bromwich and won the Wimbledon Final.
In 2019 Djoker stole 2 M.P's from Federer and won the Wimbledon Final.

Fed, always looking to set, tie or simply be part of rare records! :(

I think there is no record in tennis history of a player giving away 3 matches with multiple match points to the same opponent in GS tournaments, that happening in two semifinals and one finals. That’s unique.

6 matches in majors lost having had MP. I think even @jm1980 took pity on Fed for blowing CP and didnt bump this one
I'm so emotionally drained from it that I didn't even have the energy to bump several threads I was going to bump

For what it's worth, I thought Fed was the better player for most of the match. This must suck... I don't know how I would've dealt it with if the roles were reversed

It does. But we have to look at this in the context of pre match expectations. Djoker gifts majors to Andy Murray and Stan. I genuinely thought it was Fed's turn today. Alas, did not happen.

But IMO, Novak deserved it as much as Fed.

Apparently we have two new additions, 2001 Paris 2R vs Jiri Novak and 2002 Rotterdam QF vs Nicolas Escude (1 MP missed both times). Could anyone pull any older sources on that?
I saw this post but couldn't find sources corroborating that Fed had MP in these matches. I'm hesitant to add them to the list until I can find more sources. I even tried looking into Swiss and German sources

I was able to find a report on the Escude match, which says he was down 3-5 in the TB but won 3 straight points (for 6-5). But it doesn't say if Fed had a MP at 7-6 or 8-7.
