Matching different versions of racquet

I have two babolat pure drives. The new 2012 pure drive and I also a 2006 pure drive. Is it possible to match these racquets. But most importantly would it be worth it to match them because they have a different feel?

What do you mean by the term "matching"? Balance, weight, stiffness????

If you weighed the rackets and found out their true weight, then measured their balance points then you could spec them to be the same static weight and balance, i'm not sure about swing weight. Overgrips, lead tape and head protection tape can be used to add weight effectively.

Out of interest, can you describe the difference in feel?
