Matching Pure Strike with Pure Control tour

Hi!
I’ve got a customisation question: I have played with my Pure strikes (16x19 2014-version) for a few years now. I’m happy with them. I made a journey to them, through a bunch of other racquets, from the 2009 pure storm gt. This summer I got my hands on a Pure control tour and I love it! I’m not sure that I should switch again, but what I really like is the weight and how HL it is. So I’m thinking about maybe upping the weight and fixing balance of my Pure strikes so they’re matched.

Any recommendations on how to do this? Or is it a bad idea maybe?

Why if you play well with them.
Balance is pretty close.
Upping the weight, where and why...tail or hoop.
Hoop you will be really increasing the SW of the PS which already has more power then the PCT.
Stock swing weight on the PS 2014 is 324 / Statistic weight is 11 oz/ Flex is around 68 / Balance is 33 cm / Twist W is 13.8
Stock swing weight on the PCT is 308 /Static weight is 12 oz /Flex is around 63 / Balance is 32 cm /Twist W is 13.3

I have a bunch of different frames I play well with.
Same sticks, matching ....sure....
I would go insane if trying to match them all up..well some may insane already....
One big thing you can't match is the flex.

You sure can try monking the specs, I just think you maybe going down a rabbit hole.
Remember there is static specs and dynamics specs ...think you can match both?

Now are you loving the PTC because of the control?
And the PS should already have enough power.

It is all a give and take...
I rather see you focus on your game improvements, than monkeying around with customizing. If you really understand what you are doing, by all means try it in small logical steps.
But understand your target/goals . What are you trying to accomplish?
Also mindful you could mess up your timing and more...
weigh out the options .........

Wow, great reply! Thanks! I guess you’re right in everything. Especially going down the rabbit hole. It’s a crazy place down there. Been there on my journey from the Pure storm to where I am now. And with strings also...:)

I guess what I like more about the pct than the ps is it’s stability which is slightly better. I’m guessing the static weight has a lot to do with that? So that’s why I thought of trying to make the ps a bit more heavy/stable. But now I’m thinking I should just let it be...

You could also try the Pure Strike Tour, (I play with it) and its my main racquet i painted it like the One7 because i didn't like the feel of it , anyway, reading what you said about the HL and feel of the control, here are the pure strike tour specs

320 Static/Unstrung
7 Points HL
18*20 SP

Dunno if it helps but worth trynig ;)
