Is it the norm for her to wear those knee socks that she's wearing today?
Yes, it is. Google her and click images.
I think it's unusual, but hot
Hotter would be...oh nevermind.
It looks like she picked up an Under Armour sponsorship.
She is someone I almost wish would not get an apparel sponsor. She gots the funky taste.
That's actually pretty tame for her standards.
this thread is worthless without pictures
I already google that a long time ago.. I just thought that were some new ones.
yes, this is perfectly normal for her..
i havent seen any pics of her with knee high socks and i looked on google
Search getty images.
nevermind the socks. since when did mizuno start making tennis shoes??
Mizuno used to make racquets, shoes, appeals, and many other tennis items early in the days...
You must not be old enough to remember it...
I was actually disappointed in her normal mode of dress today. I always got a kick out of her outfits. http://coedmagazine.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/bethanie-mattek-sands-13.jpg
yeah i was definitely not around for that. the shoes looked a lot like volleyball court shoes. if they actually sell those shoes for tennis i wouldnt mind a pair. mizuno's IMO are the most comfortable shoes out there.
God, What a freak she is....looks like she stepped out of a Saturday morning kids cartoon.
She's still wearin' em--fugly! Personally I like her very much, she's a great player, seen her save and win some mx'ed matches with her aggressive play--she's toning down her outfits some, but those compression knee highs belong on the 90 y.o's in the old age home.
That is her trade Mark..aka brand
Never hear somebody scream so at the court. I mean her knee injury. Have you seen it?
She actually wears them for a medical reason, to prevent varicose veins.
Reminds me of Mary Pierce...
this poor girl got hurt today realty bad..i hope she makes it back.. good luck "high socks" in your recovery..
Yeah, Mary tore her ACL.
Saw it within moments of posting, hope I didn't jinx her. I really like her aggressive playing style and saw her interviewed once and liked her views--she just needs to dump the granny-hose-- they didn't do anything to help her knee--hope she's back soon.
I don't see her coming back.. it appeared to be a complete break of the bone... you could see it..the lump was almost as big as a tennis ball..
As a very old ex-football player, I'd rather break a bone than tear ligaments. And I've done both.
I bet ligaments ripped too...
She's a stunning woman with horrible taste.
Too soon, too soon.
I enjoy her game and attitude..fight hard and don't give a s_it attitude....
And her husband with his huge half can dip and spitter..
And there is "no shame in her game"
You know what I am sayin..
She looks really good in that pic!
She'll be back, no question. WIll just take a bit of time. You need to remember that she's primarily a dubs player and that's not dependant on youth. You only have to look at Hingis, Cara Black, Navratilova and the rest to see that age isn't a barrier. She also forms a good partnership with Safarova in terms of how they play, which is pretty key.
I hope she comes back...
I like her fight and spirit...
X2 on that, Dang. Is she smiling cause she knows where he's looking? lol
Nice post@TennisHound. Possibly four letters too long though...
