i think it was pretty strong...well for 14s
Yes it was extremely weak in most of the fields. I think that the may one is tough because it comes at a weird time for kids with school.
It looked like in two of the four National Opens for 14's the top seeds were ranked in the 60's in the country. That's pretty weak. The other two Nationals featured a stronger field, especially the one in Maryland where all seeded players were inside the top 100.
It could be due to the time of the year, towards the end of the school year.
ya i was seeded in one. haha thats a joke. it gave alotta ppl much needed points. there were alotta defaults for finals and school
what age group did you play.... 16's? How was the field overall?
According to your logic (economy maybe?) weaker players have more money and are better off economically????:???:
Are we talking about the USTA National Open in Elk Grove, Ca? My friend won the G16s
i was seeded in tht one. there was no one amazing but it was very deep. no one was bad. the 1 lost 1st round ahha everyone had a shot at beating everyone which made it a fun tourny
are there still some more nationals because my friend said they were done but i think i remember seeing some in july...???
It is I guess, the only reason I played is cause it was really close to my home.
