This one was quite the Spanish slugfest. There were a lot of intense, attritional rallies punctuated by a lot of UE letdown points, ticking over 1hr in the 8th game of the first.

Ferrer was a good mover but this match produced plenty to demonstrate just how much better Rafa's movement was, particularly the effectiveness of the first few steps running around the BH. His consistency and balance is very impressive in this match.
