McEnroe criticises Kyrgios

Funny that the only two players Kyrgios says he likes/liked to watch are Federer and Tsonga. Both these guys fighting back from 2 set deficits today. They're not the types of players that need to ask their box to cheer for them, they give them something to cheer for.

Extremely unprofessional as a coach on the atp. He should be fined.

Did john crapenroe have any comments on his boy milos tanking a final to djok 6-1, 6-1?

Nick's the mirror of the current generation of video games-internet morons taking everything for granted. I hope somebody makes a sex tape of his sister.

Good idea since nobody's watching a Nick sex tape. The guy is totally putrid as a human being. What he said to Stanimal last year was as bad as anything Connors/Mac pulled on court. He's a classless, lazy jerk.

I think it's very important that he steps away from that whole idea of "not loving tennis".

Andre said he hated tennis until he was about 32/33 years old. But because of his innate talent and the fact he finally matured, he bagged 8 majors. Nick has the talent, but is an utter wastrel of a human being. He and Tomic disgrace the hallowed name of Australian tennis.

Urr... the kid's trying to construct a prickly, gangsta persona which is pure fantasy. He grew up in Canberra (by far the most boring city in Australia) and attended pretty fancy, middle class private school there. He may have been listening to Tupac on his Dr. Dre's but he sure as hell was not fighting for survival on the mean streets around Lake Burley Griffin. Spare us for god's sake. And keep your love/hate of tennis for your shrink. It doesn't make you interesting and it sure as hell doesn't make you Agassi. Kid is whack.

I don't think John cares much about what happened before HE came along in Milos' life! ;)

Incidentally, if your referring to the IW final, the score was 6-2,6-0 (not necessarily in Milos' favour).

McEnroe is just after a job! Did you guys know that he approached Raonic? Raonic revealed it in an interview with Sue Barker on the BBC. Lol. Raonic didn't approach him. McEnroe actually reached out to Raonic to offer his services. How desperate is that!

He (McEnroe) strikes me as being envious that his contemporaries - Becker, Edberg and Lendl -are being sought out for tennis advice, but he, a tennis so-called expert, isn't. It's the same way he's been calling for Rafa to get a new coach and dropping hints that he would be interested in coaching Rafa. As if.

And yet Raonic is having a great wimbledon, despite your slamming of McEnroe....

He seems to have a keen sense of self and understands some critical faults in his approach to the game, and yet he can do nothing about it because he lacks the passion and drive though he has the talent; to be skilled at something you care nothing for can be mind-numbing. But even with all that, he still follows tennis and it's players: his press conference after the Brown match where he commented on and highlighted differences among the tour regulars and of course, the highly publicized outbursts where he critiques the tour elite; it's almost like he's a detached observer forced to participate in the thing he likes to look at.

An interesting guy, Kyrgios.

Raonic has been to the Wimbledon semi-final before, you know. He reached the Wimbledon SF in 2014 - WITHOUT McEnroe. He reached this year's AO SF - WITHOUT McEnroe! So, can we both be honest with each other and admit that his good run is necessarily due to McEnroe. In fact, I would say it's more to do with his personal development and maturity. This tendency to take responsibility away from the player - in failure or in success - and pin it on his/her coach has, frankly, reached a point of ludicrousness.

And when he loses today in straights people will be looking for answers where it doesn't exist. In a coach.

He acts like an entitled brat. Kinda like the clever kid that never does and work at school and skates along doing the minimum. His tennis just looks like he quickly bangs a serve down, if the point looks on he plays for it if not he gives up. I wonder if he even looks at the score sometimes.
