That celebration was hillarious.. first he thought he wouldn't fall on the floor but then he decided to do it in a awkward fashion.

He is the difinition of quirky. :laughing: Sure, Daniil, players have thoughts at night of winning Wimbledon, but a 'dead fish' celebration is probably your thing only. It is legendary though.

Honestly, I'm disappointed that even that was planned like months before. I always find it cringeworthy if celebrations are planned or even intended to create a trademark, because for me that is the exact opposite of enjoying the moment. When Medvedev fell down yesterday I thought it looked very genuine for once, like a real breakdown in relief. And now to hear that this celebration was copied out of a stupid video game is really sad.

(I meant "stupid video game" only in comparison to what he achieved. I also play FIFA from time to time but couldn't care less for the goal celebrations.)

Man you're not legendary at all.

Med obviously enjoys the show business aspect of tennis, and probably posts wrestling gifs in his spare time.

Usually he does zero celebration. I think we all know why- he thinks he should be winning. To simplify it. He probably felt he should do something so he went for something fun. He knows it’s just a sport and he’s not out there solving the worlds problems lol.
