Medvedev and Djokovic will be the crazy variants of the upcoming Australian Open

At the upcoming Australian Open, in the quarterfinals, Sinner, Zverev and Alcaraz could end up with one of Medvedev and especially Djokovic, we are talking about a 3-time finalist of the tournament and even a 10-time winner of the tournament.
I think that in recent history it has rarely happened to see two players of this status among the 5-8 seeds in a major at the same time.
Whoever among the top 4 seeds wants to avoid ending up in the same part of the draw as those 2, between having Djokovic or Medvedev and Ruud or Rublev/De Minaur, the whole scenario changes.

Knowing Sinner's luck in the slam draws since he became number 1, I expect a quarterfinal with Djokovic and a semifinal with Alcaraz.
But let's try to imagine a top part in which there will be Sinner, Alcaraz, Djokovic and Medvedev.
To find something similar, you have to go back to Roland Garros 2022 where Nadal, Zverev, Djokovic and Alcaraz ended up in the same part of the draw, creating a clear discrepancy between the two draws. Therefore, the draw will determine a good part of the fate of the tournament, given that in theory even in the 3rd (Alcaraz) and 4th (Fritz) seeds there is a significant discrepancy in values.

It's the first time that Sinner has been considered the favourite by the bookmakers on the eve of a slam, he wasn't at the last US Open, nor at Wimbledon.

Since start of RG win loss

Sinner 48-4
Alcaraz 36-8
Djokovic 24-4
Zverev 43-14
Medvedev 23-14

Zverev is actually not part of the top 3 performance wise. But he played most of the tournaments not even Sinner can boast that. Just was healthier than all.

Alcaraz won't be in the SFs imo.
It'll take atleast 2 more seasons for him to make a dent at AO imo, barring a serious injury (God forbid).
