He could win ten slams if injury free many seasons and playing in current form.
he’s looking more and more like the next Djokovic.
Nadal is a clay court specialist, but that didn’t stop him from winning 5 slams on hardcourt and 2 on grass. The problem is that he seems to be just a hard court specialist so that leaves him only 2 chances per year. I am guessing in the 6 range, and that might be generous. Something like 2 Australians, 3 or 4 U.S Opens, and maybe a non hard court slam somehow.

Medvedev is in similar situation to young peak Nadal. He is dominant on hardcourt, and he rounding into his peak form when the competition is weak enough that he will have opportunities to compete for slams on his weaker surfaces.
Med showed glimpses of rough court quality this year. I believe 2022 he’ll make the final of either FO or W.Come on mate, Nadal showed glimpses of top quality as early as 05 on hard and 06 on grass...

Med will still be playing his nobody-believes-in-me card in 2022, even as he becomes World #1.what glimpses? beating PCB and past-it Querrey on BO3 grass?

nadal was great on hard court in his younger career. beat peak fed a few times on hard early on(no one else beat peak fed in masters apart from canas). won olympic games in 2008 , won ao 2009. won us open 2010 with a big serve, finalist 2011. dominated fed in an ao in 2014 i believe? finalist AO 2012(6 hour match - long time between points), would've won that match had it been any other player bar djokovic.Come on mate, Nadal showed glimpses of top quality as early as 05 on hard and 06 on grass...
