Medvedev must be really pissed off with RG organization

Days ago he said he didn´t like to play at night because of the different playing conditions. Also after his match with Garin he kinda won the crowd over saying they´ll be cheering for him today because he speaks French. Now they made him play at night and without a crow :-D

Medvedev likes nothing. He seems like someone with no emotions.

Medvedev, in the second set of Tsitsipas night match, just complained about the noise behind him. Announcer said he was very upset.

Noise? But there is no crowd.

They made each of B3 play at night, didn't they? Djokovic will play at night for 2nd time, no?

He's been very hard to warm up to for me, but I realize that he is a witty, cerebral guy, and I identify with his love of speed (he's a big car guy and has a cool lowkey partnership with BMW).
I may be taking it a tad too far. I’m sure he’s an ok fella. I just do not enjoy watching his game.

Literally do not like a single thing about Medvedev. Not his game, not his personality, not his ranking and not even his equipment.
He's also aesthetically abominable, with the enormous, sparsely-haired, macrocephalic dome perched tenuously atop the chicken legs.

Neither here nor there, today. Today, he was just outclassed, pure and simple.

Tennis is lucky to have a sterling young ambassador like Tsitsipas ready to break up the old world order and assume his position atop the game.

Dont be so hard on his ranking. Its just a number.

A champion has to be able to play his game in all conditions. Tennis is one of those sports with so many variables.
True, Med could have tried to develop some topspin to work on clay but probably didn't care enough because of his HC success.

BMW? Are you referencing his arm patch that resembles their M series decal?

Yeah. Unless I'm very wrong.
That’s M logo is indeed for BMW but it’s a separate deal with their Russian division, hence the slightly altered logo.

Before he signed on with them he actually owned a M4. I’m wondering how far of an upgrade he has swung as part of his compensation.

Is that why there are no spectators allowed at the night matches?
Yes. The curfew starts at 9pm local time. So what's the point of having a night match that goes past that time when it could have been held hours earlier in the daytime in front of some fans?

Me think Medvedev should lick the French arse for getting the draw his way; ranked before Rafa and not having to play the numerous RG champ till the final, the Russian's had Christmas in June.

Maybe can't trust the other guys either, but I definitely don't trust Medvedev to deliver quality in a slam final (because of the AO, not because of the USO), so happy to get rid of him.

With very few ticket sales, Roland Garros desperately needs the TV revenue from a night match. This is capitalism at work. Bart inconsolable

So I googled it and found a tweet from Rothenberg from last year about it. Funniest part is that I'd already reacted to it, back then.

101 in a 68, and lost his driving privileges in France for six months. Seems excessive seeing as how I've been let off 3x for doing 100+ and in zones as low as 35. But I'm not in France (thankfully!)

It is harsh. I got stopped at 135mph once by a female officer. She said i was a naughty boy and let me off!!
