As some here said, Medvedev is a different animal indoors.
The Russian will want it to continue raining from now until the final of the tournament

Crazy scene, I did not expect Meddy to push for a 5th set, let alone an upset.

This is Meddy's first ever quality top10 win on grass.

Sinner has a lot to reflect and improve.

Didn’t Sinner have a SP in the 3rd? It was a close match unlike the clown post by OP had predicted.
It's just copypasta from these false dawn threads

If you throw enough darts at the board, eventually you hit a bullseye!

Med is becoming more aggressive. Is actually improving.
It is a scary thought.
From what grisha on gladiator tennis stated and an insider who strung for med in Miami: he had an abductor and shoulder injury from earlier in Australia through March/April which was why he was tinkering with natural gut.

Scary to think he made an AO final and should’ve won it he were healthy.

Lol at folks taking the troll thread too seriously. But just for fun, congrats OP, i agree that Med is one of the greatest baseliners of all time.

Probably will die if this ends up being like the US Open where Medvedev beat defending champion Alcaraz and then gets straight setted in the final.

Woah, I thought it was a Meles masterpiece at first.

But that's how you get gems like this (look at the date on the OP)

This is not some jinx thread against Daniil.

Ive been saying since RG sinner has flattered to deceive and later i think Medvedev will tear him apart.

Daniil does everything bigger here now in 2024 and with sinners cumbersome movement i can see him getting creamed in straight sets.

Decent call here, you went a little too specific on 'tear him apart' but Medvedev got the win so well played.

Medvedev came across as someone with a ton of energy, and his flatter balls you could tell were tough to handle, forcing Sinner to miss more often than I expected him too. Meddy's got a great game for grass.

When Medvedev rose to the elite a few years ago, I thought that grass would be his best surface due to his big serve and flatter shots especially after he worked to somewhat improve his slice and net finishes. But he always moved so poorly on grass all these years that I gave up on believing in this especially after he started doing so much better on hard courts and even won Rome on clay. Looks like he is figuring out movement on grass and becoming more of a threat every year.

I hope Alcaraz takes him out, but doubt that it will be an one-sided affair as last year was.
