Medvedev to expose Sinner false dawn

It is one thing to bet on Med to win, it’s a whole other thing to say Sinner will be creamed in straight or he’ll be torn apart. This is a clown thread lol. Considering who made the thread, I guess the AO match (not the final lol) still hurts badly.
Anyway, I’m expecting a very close match. It’s deffo going to be close and Med might even get the win if Sinner has a bad serving day.
Clown thread? Oops!

Did you even read the OP and my response? I said it will be close and Med might even get the win, but it will be a close match. There was literally no possibility for either to be "creamed in straights" or be "torn apart". These are quality players, not chumps. So yeah, this is indeed a clown thread.

Did you see my prediction later in the thread?

When Medvedev rose to the elite a few years ago, I thought that grass would be his best surface due to his big serve and flatter shots especially after he worked to somewhat improve his slice and net finishes. But he always moved so poorly on grass all these years that I gave up on believing in this especially after he started doing so much better on hard courts and even won Rome on clay. Looks like he is figuring out movement on grass and becoming more of a threat every year.

I hope Alcaraz takes him out, but doubt that it will be an one-sided affair as last year was.

Medvedev is good enough to win Wimbledon IMO

But Winning would require going through top 3 in the world so its almost impossible. Maybe if draw was great.

Congrats to Med for the big win. I have to say that he stepped up in the QF. This semi will be another massive test for him.

Nothing was exposed, only Wimbledon tilting the outcome of this tournament by doing the match indoors for no ****ing reason.

And the WImbledon Disgrace continues.

In fact meddy should have won Wimby match in 3 sets.

And ao he was ahead 6-3 5-1

He owns sinner. Sinner needs to be at his best to win.

Med had a shoulder and abductor injury going into AO tournament. And I didn’t hear him whining about “I was ill “. On top of that he played 3 matches that lasted til 2 am or later.

I actually think Wimbledon and the curfew rule is great for the players. Maybe other directors should manage a schedule better for players. Maybe uS open starts matches at 11 am and doesn’t have that long gap from 4-7/8 pm on Ashe and Armstrong for “prime time”.

These resurrected threads clearly show that this forum would be a more rational, less noisy place if the terms "expose" and "false dawn" were stricken from everyone's vocabularies.
