I don't think what Tsitsipas said should be deemed as "against it" ....it was neutral what he said, and to some extent Rafa too.

I sense a lot of subjective notions coming into this thread. I think all the players should be left alone to play tennis rather than to tweet or respond to interviews/surveys. Did we want their opinions before they were hassled to inoculate?

well, it's true that Djokovic got himself into this position and that tournament will go on...but he also said if he finally plays "ok"...so he is not against Djokovic playing. As far as Tsitsipas he said "I'm not saying my way is correct or his way is correct" so that's neutral too...he does sound, however a bit salty maybe that he had to take the jab and Djoker did not...

Tsits, Rublev and Sousa were angry for something other issue not pro vaxxer and antivaxxer
Sousa clearly said many pro don't want to take vaccination but they have to because of job and Novak got in without jab so they were angry how Novak managed to get his way in when they were not

Tsitsipas sounded like a petulant child whose only reason for getting vaccinated was so that he could play and was angry at Djokovic that he avoided it. Pathetic.

So is Sousa and Rublev.
Clearcut pro vaxxer are Murray and Rafa atleast what I got from their views.
This is why I am ok with Rafa taking shots on Novak because he is provaxxer but Sousa and tsists and other views came across as jealousy more
 
That was Rublev initial reaction on taking vaccine.
In the men's game, top 10 player Andrey Rublev said: "For the moment [the vaccine] doesn't really give you any privilege".
He said that players would still have to remain in a bubble while attending tournaments. "If you ask me if I can choose and I can have an option, I will not do it".

Djokovic claims to be interested in representing the interests of the players. If he really did so, he wouldn't try to get in by bending the rules himself but would challenge the basis of the rules. If the players had en masse said that they'd boycott the AO unless the Australian authorities reverted to a quarantine-and-test policy like last year, they might have had some success. Perhaps Sousa and Tsitsipas hoped that Djokovic would be a leader on this issue and feel let down that he wasn't.

Nobody is now going to boycott that is stupidity.
Well neither atp and itf will allow this, this is where I really like wta, they even threatened to boycott dubai after 2010 visa problem

The thing is till October or September there was chance of 2 weeks quarantine, I remember Rublev interview about this, but Australia really surprised everybody

I think a lot of players have not heard real information. many comment that nole has not followed the rules which he has done and the government has acknowledged it. as the government has acknowledged that nole visas and exceptions were valid! this is a political decision that smells like a rat. many are cautious but when one by one starts saying out loud as there are more will follow. many have fallen for this witch hunt and many are afraid to speak out. others, like rafa and cici are happy when they think only of themselves and that they get it easier. but they forget that it is also important to be on the right side in history when human rights are most important.
