Meniscus repair and range of motion

December 30 2016 I had a bucket handle meniscus tear from a Jiu Jitsu injury and a repair was done on my right lateral meniscus in January of 2017. Now at the beginning of 2018 both of my knees have full extension again but the flexion on my right is a minor issue. I can flex my left to 145 degrees and my right to 139 area with a little bit of a sound coming from it. 2 questions.

1) Does anyone have any suggestions as to getting more flexion out of my right knee?
2) Is the clicking sound normal for a meniscus repair?

any help is appreciated, thanks y'all!

I’m not a medical doctor. My experience comes from personal experience and observations from being around many meniscus injuries.

1) Never experienced any clicking sounds. Some people can’t move certain joints; hands, feet, etc, without clicking.
2) Meniscus injuries usually come with swelling and pain. The absence of those is a good sign that everything is okay.
3) Flexibility and strength take time. Neither should be neglected. Continue to do exercises you were taught at physical therapy or google some if you skipped pt. Also find a full body stretching routine. Before long, you’ll be where you want to be. Who knows? It might also fix the clicking.
