Mens Open Tournaments

If Im a junior player am i allowed to participate in mens open tournaments? I did it once before when i knew the tournament director but i didn't know if that was an exception.

I believe you can, although there may be an age requirement.

One thing though is that you can't acept prize money ... Other than to cover actual expenses (like hotel) I think.

I'm sure someone will come along that knows for sure.

In my province in Canada, juniors are required to either play 5.0 or Open. Open covers pretty well everyone, so I don't see why a junior wouldn't be aloud to play.

Yes you absolutely can. You are a male, and it is open.

Exactly right. I played a Women's Open and got slaughtered by a Junior in the 18's and under. Good luck to you!

just remember if you are going to play college tennis you better check the rules on prize money.

Yep your not allowed to accept prize money but i won't be playing in tournaments with prize money anyway
