Federer would murder him pretty much anywhere outside of clay.
Fed's negative h2hs against both Nadal and Djokovic are mostly due to a ton of matches when they were at their peaks and Federer was old (and the first half of Fedal h2h due to the majority of matches being played on clay). People who gave Fed flak for losing to them more often than not needed perspective and they got it.
