I wrote to Plaz last night, as I'd just bought a Puma Boris Becker Winner and thought he'd be interested, as it's one of his favourites and told him we were all missing him. Here's his reply:

I'm starting a vintage website this week. It will be poetic, comedic and informative. I miss you folks as well but needed to move my obsessive compulsivity away from racquets and into my career. As usual what seems like an obstacle in life turns out to be the best road...
please send everyone my love...
I'm dying to know what career move he's contemplating and will also ask him to email me (or one of us) when his website is up. :)

How very thoughtful of you, Virginia. I miss Plaz, too -- the man is a poet and a breath of fresh air. I'm sure a lot of us can't wait to see what he's come up with for a website. I'm glad he found a way to say what he feels without being banned.

Plaz, if you still read these threads, good luck. There's no one else like you. Keep the faith.

Yuth,
As Bud says, Madison, Wisconsin is cold in the Winter just like Minnesota. The temperature will be below freezing. They do have indoor tennis, however.

Thanks friend...Who in this board live there? I go for a short term training...may be 4-5 months. I hate cold season. Please suggest me, if I could play tennis?

I work at the university of wisconsin-medison, faculty of pharmacy.

Thanks,

yuth

Yuth,

I went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison and also worked there. You're in luck. They've got a beautiful indoor facility, Nielsen Tennis Stadium. It's for faculty, staff and students, and there are 12 courts, so you won't have too much trouble getting playing times.

Here's a link to their website, where you can learn about the fees, hours, etc.:
http://www.recsports.wisc.edu/nts.html

You'll be able to play to your heart's content while you're in Madison, provided you can get through through the frozen tundra.

Good luck and have fun.

I never did post much in this section, but man, his posts were EPIC :) I thoroughly enjoyed what he write, the way he wrote, and the way he thought. I'd love to see what he comes up with for a new website!
