Met Luke Jensen

Luke Jensen is in town(Palm Springs area) for the Easter Bowl and is staying at the resort in which I work. I was valeting when I saw him come out.....I had seen his name on the VIP list earlier, so I was on the lookout for him. I was able to converse with him a bit while the other valet brought his car up. He is a pretty nice guy. Dressed in reebok from head to toe. It was mostly small talk, but still was nice! :)

I met him when he was in Houston as the announcer for River Oaks. Got to hit w/ him for a little while as well. He can still crank on the ball. Everytime I saw him he was totally outfitted in Reebok as well. He was really personable and fun to talk w/. The guy never got enough hitting, he used the ball machine at our club the entire week he was in town.

Have also met him and hit with him a couple of times....Very nice always. He was known as a guy who was well-disciplined and worked out alot. He used to play at my club in ATL and was always there very early in the AM..no sign of Murphy though, he was a late sleeper.

It's amazing the way he can serve with both hands.

Have'nt met Luke, but have met Murphy. He was pretty cool. 2003, He was in a record store, with who I assume must have been his girlfriend, very hot, albeit a bit grumpy. He told me he was in London filming Wimbledon, the movie. Federer had just given Roddick a masterclass in the semi-finals a day or two before, so we were talking about that. Both of us were waxing lyrical about how we had never seen such devastating tennis played so effortlessly. He was a big fan, and still is a big fan of tennis, gets excited like everybody else. Very cool indeed.

Yep, I used to watch him during his college days at SC and it's a sight to watch him serve hard righthanded and lefthanded. I don't know of anyone else who can do this.

Nadal, maybe. He is a born righty or something like that, ambidextrous.

Saw a female player on the practice courts of Wimbledon once, whipping forehands off both sides. For me this is even more impressive than being able to serve with both hands. Did'nt catch her name, but was not a top player.

Biggest mystery in tennis is how Luke and Murphy won a GS doubles title. Lightning in a bottle I guess. Saw them play in person several and they were nothing more than journeymen pros. Actually never saw them win a match.
