MG Prestige Mid

I tried searching the forums and didn't come up with much info. Can any MG Prestige Mid users give me their feed back? Or anyone remember what the TW review for the MG Prestige Mid was?

I use a Volkl PB 10 mid and am definitely sticking with it but thought this might be a good back up racquet. I know it is smarter to have two of the same stick for tournaments (found this out switching from my PB 10 mid to a Kpro tour after a string broke this weekend) but a local shop is selling their old demo for $75. Its in 8/10 condition and seems like a great deal. It would save me $120 over ordering another PB 10 mid. So far the demo seems to be playing very similar to my PB 10 mid.

Thank you very much. Do you still own yours? I didnt want to read through 72 pages of post :-) Also what does G.O.A.T next to your username mean? I noticed the differnt ranks based on the number of post but unsure what that one means.

aggie, Yes, I still own and play with the MG Mid Prestige. Great, GREAT frame. However, I had switched to the kps88 when it came out. Right now, being that I am stringing so much for others,,,,,,when I hit, I just pull out whatever is strung and in my bag.

When one is stringing so much for others, their own frames sadly are the last to get strung, which is why I don't always hit with the kps88 or MG Mid Prestige. I've also recently begun hitting quite a bit with the Youtek Prestige Pro, strung with Black Magic, which has become my string of choice.

At 75 dollars and 8/10 condition, I think it's a bargain. As drak said, it's a really good racket (though I still prefer the original PC600); I think finding the right string and tension for the MGP Mid would be quite a challenge though as I find that it doesn't play well with certain strings/tension
