I really hope he does well, too! :) He's a streaky player, tho ... didnt realize he hadn't won a title yet

Apparently, Flo was scheduled to team up w/Dolgo in doubles for Miami, but when Dog/Xman made it to the finals of IW, dolgo's coach called to ask whether Flo would release Alex from that committment. Flo graciously agreed. Now look ... somehow dolgo's teamed up w/Almagro for the dubs instead ... guess Mayer had already found a substitute partner in YH Lu, so those two should do well together :)

Murray broken in 1st game v Bogomolov. 2 losses to American qualifiers from outside the top 100 in 2 consecutive matches?
 
Seriously what is going on with Andy? Also, Miami is weird this year so far. Can't wait to actually see some matches soon.
 
ESPN does not keep track of the scores well. Left my place while Blake was up 5-4 in the 2nd and I just got home - the score on ESPN mobile never changed from 5-4 in the second and they're already in a 3rd set TB.

Also, what's up with Murray?

Murray needs a sports shrink and he needs one now. A coach probably wouldn't be a bad idea as well.

At this rate he will never win a major.

As a matter of fact, the next 8 majors will be won by Nadal, Nole, Federer and Del Potro. Don't see Murray winning a major in the next 2 years.

It's hard to argue with that right now.


I've just seen tweets from courtside saying Murray isn't actually playing badly - Bogomolov is hitting lines all over the place.

I was rooting for Murray at the AO final this year because I knew losing a final to Nole would mess up him badly.:-?

He's about to get a breadstick from a guy ranked 118. If that doesn't convince him that something needs to change then nothing will.
 
this is getting beyond a joke now, yes he's low in confidence but god is he using a spade instead of a racket? 6-1 to bogomolov lol
 
Who the heck is Bogomolov? Murray really got fed a breadstick by this guy?

At first I read dolgopolov, silly me!

Anyway, time to bump my Murray slumping v. 2.0 now.
 
Murray needs to win a couple of ugly matches against lower ranked players to get something going.
At the moment there is no discussion regarding him winning the title.
And an early loss here and then going to clay his poor results might continue
