Glad that Nishikori (and you know in his corner) has done their homework as regards Ralph. If only he came in behind certain shots.

how many chances can you possibly get game after game. Frustrating to watch challengers not being able to close time after time.

Because Nishikori is not being bullied. Whether that will continue is another matter. He's hitting solidly, with some nice angles being exchanged. He's just not coming in behind certain shots.

He's putting pressure on Ralph's serves though, I like it.

Always? No. And a masters series match is not at all anything like a slam. It's not shocking at all. Novak has yet to win at a slam against Rafa. Not saying he won't or isn't talented or what not, but there was nothing shocking about Rafa beating Novak on hardcourts in an important event either.
