They took it seriously. Zverev, Tsits, and Fed were all business at Hopman Cup.

I agree. That's what I meant to say (missed "not" in my post)

Tsits played Roger tough over there too. So the fanboy angle doesn't always work to awe younger players into submission.

You mentioned yourself twice whilst replying to your own post, don’t think I’ve ever seen that before...

We see what we want to see. You should ask yourself ‘what does that say about me that I notice such things’?

(Did you notice I wrote you and yourself in the same sentence? Have you seen that before?)

Although it has to be said that this is the first time Fed plays someone who was born after Fed had already turned pro.
Fed played his first ATP event July 1998 in Gstaad. Tsitsipas was born August 12, 1998.

But it depends how you define "turned pro." Because he also played more junior tournaments after that debut in Gstaad.

It all depends on a few factors. Denis has some tape on his knee so I'm wondering if there might be a minor strain there? I hope not. I wouldn't assume Denis will be in "awe" of Roger on Friday. He's met him many times already, spoken with him and is very comfortable knowing him. He's studied his game backwards and forwards, so he knows what Roger can produce. And yes, Roger will be the favourite, but I checked tennis predictions over the past few days. Denis was supposed to lose to both Tsitsipas and Tiafoe. I know he's the underdog here, but he was the underdog when he played Rafa too. It's going to be tough, but not impossible.
