Ever since it changed a few years ago it progressively looks worse and worse, downright ugly.

ATP massacred the tournament.

On the other hand Paris Masters looks great aesthetically.

The ATP has nothing to do with the look of the tournament. The owners wanted to go big and so they found themselves a car park.

More bums on seats equals more money.

Well, yeah. Moving away from a purpose-built tennis park was an obvious bonehead move.

I don't really see much wrong with it. It can look a bit weird seeing the American Football stadium in the background all empty, but when you're watching a match that's not an issue.
