Who takes this? (or how many games does Djoko lose)

H2h: 3-0 to Djoko, but Goffin played him decently close in Cinci last year (up a double break in the third I'm told below only to lose 6 straight games) and at the French 2013.

2016 stats for both players:

Djoko's is 3rd best and best in the same two categories and Djoko's gonna have a field day on the Goffin serve regardless of how he plays.

If Novak continues serving like he has been all tournament, Goffin should be licking his lips at the possibility of a first Masters final and I can't say it wouldn't be richly deserved.

Goffin was leading 3-0 in 3rd set with double break in hand at Cincy. Then lost 6 straight games :(

Good additional info, didn't see the match. I pick 8 games for McFly, maybe a tad optimistic given his serve will be under constant attack

OP needs schooling...it's George McFly that bears a striking resemblance to Goffin.

George was played by Crispin Glover, son of Bruce Glover. Glover senior was most famous for playing the wacky assassin Mr. Wint in the 007 film Diamonds Are Forever.

Yes! He lost 6 games in a row after breaking Novak twice and holding serve once. Nervousness got to him. But he still had so many opportunities and got into many of Novak's serve games afterward but could not capitalize.
 
I've picked Djokovic in 2 because I'd be an idiot not to. Obviously hoping Goffin can make this a match and at least get a break.

How can Goffin get past the mandatory first service game break that Djokovic has been leveling against everyone else he faces? He puts his opponents in immediate catchup mode and they play the entire match under constant pressure as a result. Goffin needs to come out ready to serve a solid first game or he's toast.

Where I DO like Goffin is that he's got consistent strokes and he won't try to power THROUGH Djokovic like Berdych or Thiem. Goffin can rally with consistency and use his placement and angles to try to gain the advantage.

Went with Djoko in 2. But who knows? Thiem surprised me big time the other day. Would be really cool if Marty could show some balls and take it a step or two further.
 
McFly? I guess I kinda see the resemblance, but Goffin looks more like Elijah Wood imo.

Goffin has a better return game than Thiem, but also a much more attackable service package. And Djoko hasn't been struggling on return, so I have a hard time seeing Djoko breaking less than once a set, probably more. Question is - can Goffin break back often enough?
 
First let's hope Djokovic will be fine in the next match. I heard he was having some back problems in the Berdych match.

Haha. Something is going on with Novak's serving given he only managed to win 69% of first serve points against Berdy, but he seems to be compensating quite nicely. Held Thiem and Berdych to winning 25% of their second serve points. Goffin's first is not that fast, so this should be a blow out. Nole in the role of Biff:
