he was 4 for a bit earlier on and then went back to 3. The seedings for this tournament must have been made when he was still 4.

Nadal will be seeded 3. The seeds are based on the ranking currently, and Nadal is seeded 3 this week, so he probably will in Miami as well.

I would like Rafa to win it as he has never won the title here. So as I have no freaking idea right now I voted with my heart and picked Rafa. I wouldnt mind Federer either but I expect another half assed effort from him in a non slam which is his norm these days (I am not complaining either, for me that is just fine).

Fed will not go deep at miami.. maybe the semis and that´s it
he isn´t interested in tourneys beside Grand Slams anymore.
I expect nadal to win this.

I have a feeling Murray will take this. I don't see Nadal winning back to back HC masters, Fed will lose in the semis or so, Djokovic... no..., Cilic might make a deep run this time around though.

My favorite HC Master Series event. Woohoo!

my least favorite. :(

sooooooooooooooooooo slow..even slower than IW.

//in my IW bracket i put andy to win and i am at 202th place..pretty good aye ??

i think in miami i'll also put andy to the W, but in inside i don't believe tbh...i would put my money on rafa..

He can't win against the big guys on form. Even with the easy draws he's had.

If you look back at the IW results of the top guys you can clearly see none of them are in form as they should have beat everyone they lost to relatively easy, so it's really a toss up as to who is going to win Miami.

Nadal losing to Ljub
Djok losing to Ljub
Fed losing to Bag
Murray to Soder
....

My prediction goes to Djokovic.

Those ATP shots are hilarious. The only one that doesn't look felonious is Roddick

That's bad news ... sounds serious if he hasn't healed up by now!

What do you expect when you play consecutive five setters in AO with a shabby wrist? He shouldn't have entered that IMO,he only made things worse and he is very young so he has time. He made the same mistake as Rafa entering RG with shabby knees. He could have easily lost to blake before the cilic match. No offense to those guys but I doubt that they can handle a healthy DelPo on HC.

Yeah,I'm bummed Delpo isn't playing as well(although I knew that for a while, there was a thread in general pro about him missing Miami).

He's way too injury ridden, hope he has more luck with his health in the future.

I have no idea who is going to win here. Federer might put in more of a push to try and win here to increase his cushion in the rankings going into the clay court season just in case he really stinks it up there (not that I am predicting that but his clay court game hasnt exactly gone up since 2007). I dont think Djokovic or Murray will win. Just not in form right now. Nadal has a chance based on his play here. Soderling or Roddick could win it I guess.

Wow - get this, Albert Montanes is ranked ahead of Sam Querrey, Jurgen Melzer, Marcos Baghdatis, and Janko Tipsarevic! I would bet anything that every single one of them would whup him in straight sets. What a joke

Montanes, unlike them, has consistency (and clay court ability). big fan.

I was talking about on a hard court. The only thing consistent about montanes on a hard court is that he's consistently pretty crap! OK that was a bit of a joke but could you really see him bothering any of those four players I mentioned on a HC?

The draw is very favorable to Nadal.

He won't see anyone that he could lose to until he faces Tsonga (#10 in the world), but he beat him in Paris indoors, so I'd call Rafa the favorite there (if they meet).

In the potential semi's, he's got either Roddick (who he usually gets the better of), Ljubicic (who I doubt can repeat the same upset over Rafa... but it's possible), and Djokovic (what kind of form is he in???)..

Rafa's got the same chance of making the final and winning the tournament here as he did in Indian Wells. As long as nothing crazy happens like the match with Ljubo in the semi's there.

As long as Rafa plays as well as he did in IW and skips out on the doubles, I'd call him the favorite for this tourney (especially considering he's made the final here a couple of times, he's no slouch on the surface).
