Mid to High-End Portable Ball Machine Comparisons

I ordered the Lobster 4 a couple of weeks back, as well as the remote, from Amazon.ca - a truly terrible experience! I've had no trouble with Amazon orders in past but this time was different. They said delivery would be 1 to 4 months. When I pointed out that the machines are readily available at the Lobster plant, so why the long delay, they basically said they have no idea. The last straw was when the remote arrived yesterday in a cheesy looking envelope from Dubai UAE. Made me wonder where the machine would come from and what I would be getting. I cancelled the order and ordered from the Canadian supplier (RacquetGuys) who have it in stock and will deliver in about a week. Go figure! Costs more but well worth it IMHO. Caveat emptor! Sadly, now into our rainy season here in Vancouver which should last until around June.

Next up will be getting the right balls for the machine - lots of different opinions on that issue, I know. Hope you are enjoying your machine Javi! Cheers!

I got tretorn pressureless. They are allegedly the closest to regular balls but they still feel to heavy. If you have any wrist or elbow problems or over the age 40 I would recommend regular balls especially if you use the machine enough where you can justify getting new balls once they are dead

I got the Tretorns as well because that was the ball recommended by the Lobster rep. I'm guilty of all three sins (wrist, elbow and age) but haven't yet had the chance to use the machine, so we'll see how it goes. Nothing but rain and snow here in Vancouver!
