You plan on trying full thunderblast any time soon?
Probably not unless I have arm problems. I'm hooked on B5E hybrids.

With all due respect, shouldn't you at least try it?
I know b5e is awesome with it, but surely you want to try it.
Haha, I see you have been following another thread...
Funny you mention that. I was just contacted about playtesting a new version of Thunder Blast that supposedly does not leave the black ball marks.
so please test it quickly before i order my reel!
I'd like to but I need to wait for another restringing which probably won't happen until Sunday and I'll only be testing it as a cross.

Sounds good.
I'm surprised you didn't catch the allusion to airplane.
i just noticed that my Xcel turned "bad" after 10-12 hours..
many groundstrokes lost spin or blew out of court..
i sure hope it's not an excuse and mostly the string,
cause i just couldn't regain control of my game anymore.
i really don't want to turn into a "string blamer" and i feel i'm starting to
but beside the look, how did the feel change ?
I assume you are talking Xcel. I don't remember noticing a huge change in feel.
I just wanted to let everyone know, we are all counting on you.
mikeler, if i invest in Thunderblast, i presume it's a good reel to hybrid in future, right? (well, duh.. you use it)
No...that's exactly what they expect us to do.
I use it only as a cross.
and remind me what's your poly?
I have three (3) Pro Kennex 7Gs with Weiss Cannon Black 5 Edge mains at 52 pounds with Genesis Thunder Blast crosses at 56 pounds on a Gamma X-ST lockout machine. I may go down some in tension if it ever turns cold here.

danke schoen
I think you probably safe from the cold in florida.
I was reading your rip multi review and your said that the string caused a few fliers from the baseline but otherwise you liked it. lots of spin. well, I have to agree. I love rip but I tried it against 2 other multi's on the same day and noticed rip had a bad habit of launching the ball if you don't generate enough spin. I had tnt 2 in the other stick and didn't notice it launching the ball as much but hated the stiff feel of tnt2. imo, tnt 2 just lacked feel and power and seemed very mediocre. ( how do they get 10$ for this string?)
gonna try multifeel and quisi gut next. but waiting for the rip to snap.
What is that foreign white substance covering the ground?
Some folks call it poly
Ah, so that is where strings are REALLY made.
Where dreams and elbows go to die
Mikeler, a quick one:
Thunderblast vs quasi gut
please?_____
the next few days.. just need to clarify how much all the taxes will cost.
BTW- seeing the match now?
Nope, just the score.
Nope, just the score.
Just to let you know, if you're a fan..
Federer's best game in years!!
The old man is on fire.
Amazing.
Try to get a hold of this game.
That was my big complaint with RIP. You HAVE to use all that massive spin potential otherwise the balls flies out. So anytime I went to flatten a shot, I just could not control the ball.
