Mirza Basic wearing Novak Pros while playing Novak Djokovic

I know this isn't the first time (Berdych used Novak Pros also and blacked out Novak's face on the tongue if I recall) but Mirza Basic is playing Novak Djokovic right now and he is wearing Novak Pros. The cameraman actually zoomed in a few times on his shoes.

Wilson clothing and stick. Shoes were Adidas Barricade Novak Pro.

Just thought of sharing here for fellow gear nerds. Can't deny it, Novak Pros are still some of the best Barricades out there. Even if Djokovic now wears Gel Res. I just thought it was a bit funny as well.

That is funny. Also odd that Basic is sponsored by Wilson and doesn't wear Wilson shoes. I know that happens when an apparel manufacturer doesn't seriously try to compete in the shoe market (i.e., Lacoste), but I figured Wilson would require Wilson shoes for a head to "toe" guy......

If the ventilation of all Wilson shoes is as bad as it is on my newly bought Kaos SFT, then I can’t blame him. Then there’s a few other design oddities that don’t really translate to complete comfort/performance. I’m not sure I prefer them even to the Nike Ultras.

Don't have experience with Kaos SFT but I hated the regular Kaos. Got it on that TW deal where you got a free pair when buying Burn 100S (that racquet is horrendous too btw). Kaos was just a super cheapo feeling shoe and had way more problems than just ventilation, lol. I know Rush Pro 2.5 aren't any better either. Wilson dropped the ball with their shoe offerings IMO.

Yeah, bought the shoe on 50% clearance but I’m not buying any of the current offerings based on this experience. Pretty bad.
