Mistakes last cross - playable?

true dat. It depends on the client. Some of the guys I play with would be delighted to get a free string job. ( I am not a pro but string for family and friends only)

Thank you for the answers! it was my own racquet so i guess i'll just play with it and enioy it.

So no difference in feel for the sweet Spot?

You could play with two identical strung Yonex's like you have pictured, one with the correct last cross, the other as you show it, and without looking to see which is which I'm willing to bet you couldn't pick the one strung with the incorrect last cross...the only thing you'd have going for you is you've got two racquets and a 50/50 shot at it.

i've played *without* the last cross string, because i miscut the cross string length, it was my only racquet, didn't have time to restring the cross before my match... occasionally an odd bounce (but arguably would have been a bad shot anyway)... but playable :p

With the misweave you may find the bottom 2 crosses may bow toward each other.

Yes if they are weaved the same. More often, it seems that just a main is missed (for me) versus the entire cross being mis-weaved. Harder to detect (but not difficult of course…)

I also notice that my mis-weaves are near the end of the job, so last couple crosses or so. Logically, this makes sense also….
