MiStringer Stringing Machine -- Thoughts?

I've heard glowing reviews about this through their customer reviews, do you all have any experience with this? I've read that it's better than any drop weights and easy to use after the learning curve. At only around $300, it seems like a steal, but I have never met anyone who actually has/uses it.

I don’t have any personal experience with the MiStringer. But, I do think that it’s safe for me to say or even suggest that the MiStringer is “better than any drop weight” is a rather bold and potentially dubious assertion. I do think the MiStringer is rather unique and innovative for what it is. But there are definitely some drawbacks to the design. YMMV.

Different approach to LO. The clamps look very small, not sure how much can it hold.
They claim it as the "Only true portable stringer" (I am sure I saw it on their listing somewhere).

Yes, the fact that a $300 stringer is better than a $800 stringer made me very suspicious about the reviews.

I do like how they addressed clamp drawback. Clamps themselves look pretty flimsy, but the holes the clamp inserts into is really genius.

It is. However I would have gladly taken the trade-off of using standard flying clamps so more traditional towers could be used. Then weaving the crosses wouldn't be a challenge, and mounting would be less convoluted. I know this would also make its form factor a little less compact and not as unique, but I think it would appeal to a larger audience, while still being rather portable.

there is a major flaw with this stringer being that it cant string racquets that are 90 sq inches
its probably possible if you get creative and go to the hardware store for parts but still it seems like a silly oversite by the creator
also the mounting points on the sides are useless, but the weird thing about this stringer is that the flying clamps help hold the racquet in place aswell as the strings tension
overall it useable its major plus is the portability you can bring it anywhere and have a stringer if you break strings or just want to restring for a different tension or set up
it does also take much longer to string maybe 15 minutes longer compared to a faster stringer like the neos 1000
