Mizuno shoes? anyone have or try them

Looking to try a different shoe. Was a big fan of the Asic speed but the latest version isn't doing it for me with the squeeking. I love Mizuno for running. Wondering how their tennis shoes are. Anyone?

Hi, I also have a Mizuno running pair (wave rider 20) and was interested in Mizuno tennis shoes. I tried the Exceed Tour 3 but found it too narrow for my feet (normal width). The forefoot was really snug. Maybe I should have tried a 1/2 size up too see but I already had some heel slippage so I gave up this shoe.

I felt a bit like the last Power Cushion Eclipsion Yonex shoe, about the same feeling in the forefoot. But the Mizuno shoe is less stiff than the Eclipsion which is better for the overall comfort.

Otherwise it's a very nice shoe, the quality seemed excellent and the comfort top notch if you have narrow foot.

Thanks for the info. Going a 1/2 size up doesn’t seem great for tennis. Too much start and stop. You’d have bruised toes. I’m a normal size too . I guess I could always order , try on and return if needed.

Depends on the situation, sometimes my foot grow(/swell, I don't know the exact English term) during sport and particularly tennis. I like to have a 1/2 size up to feel more comfortable. But I agree with you, you need a good support and snug shoe are great for performance in tennis.

I tried the last solution speed of Asics (the FF) and it was too wide for my foot. If you tried the same be careful cause the Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 3 is the total opposite, very narrow (more than the Resolution 7 for example). Of course you can order, try and return. That's what I did thanks to the nice return policy of Tennis Warehouse ;-).
Keep me in touch if you ever try ;-)
