    Hello TWE,

I'm planning to get Mizuno Wave Exceed tour 2 but I'm hesitant about the size I should get so do they fit true to size or I have to size down? my normal size is 42.

    Thanks

I'm a bit confused, when you say normal size do you refer to UK/US sizing or EU sizing? because Mizuno has a different scale from Nike. 7.5 UK Mizuno is 41 EU whereas 7.5 UK Nike is 42 EU.

I am referring to UK/US sizing. My shoes are 10.5 uK or 11.5 US.

You should be aware Mizuno uses a different conversion than f.inst. Adidas and Nike, so "true to size" is def not as straight as it seems.

I normally use US 10 / UK 9.5 / EU 44, which for most brands are identical, but when it comes to Mizuno, and that goes for all the Mizunos I've tried (mostly running shoes), I was surprised I had to to a full size smaller, i.e. from EU 44 to EU 43. However, looking closer at the measures themselves, things made sense:

    EU 43.0 / UK 9.0 / US 10.0 / 28 cm

As the cm measure is the only one that seems to be standardized, it seems Mizuno uses a different cm to EU/UK conversion.

For Adidas and Nike, these are the numbers:

    EU 44.0 / UK 9.5 / US 10.0 / 28 cm (adidas)
    EU 44.0 / UK 9.0 / US 10.0 / 28 cm (nike)

So, if you're not able to try shoes before buying, make sure you check all the measures (UK/US/EU/cm).
