Hi All,

how do you think the Mizuno Wave exceed 6 All-court would perform on Clay? good enough or way too slippery?

Perfectly, grand-slam level maintained probably ok.

Anywhere else, probably not great. Not much of that tread will dig and it isn't very deep.

Will be fine. I’ve used Zion 2, zoom zero all court versions on clay all summer with no probs. Currently use Mizuno momentum 3 / which are handball shoes or something) and they were better than clay shoes.

depends what you prefer, but the comfort of the handball / volleyball shoes is higher than tennis shoes. maybe they are a little higher off the ground, but i prefer mid-cut anyway.

i find this mizuno model super comfortable, so is more a matter of having the right grip for me. I found a great deal and bought it, will get it tomorrow but i can't really test and return that's why i was asking. I play 70% clay, all year around so also in winter when clay is not slippery indeed. Though in summer it gets warm and so my doubt about beeing too slippery

If you are used to playing with allcourt soles shoes on clay, then go for it. Now if you´ve been using only clay court outsoles, I wouldn´t recommend it. You´ll feel like you slip a lot compared to with a claycourt outsole.
