MLB 2025 Season

All bets are off for the Dodgers with the way Betts is hitting this year.

The other Cal team, the Mariners, will be the catcher of the rye this year.
Ohtani will single handedly pitch NO hittera and Hit grand slams every game to win the playoff and world series:)

crazy night in baseball last night...some wild high scoring games and some great low scoring one run games

we saw the effect of my Guardians not having Clase...Cade Smith had to pitch the 8th and 9th innings...can't keep that up

looking through the box scores of last night's crazy games, two things caught my eyes

1. the Marlins have a starting pitcher named Janson Junk

2. the Rockies had three hitters with four hits...guessing that's not a record, but it doesn't happen all the time

speaking of that game, what a brutal loss for the Pirates...not that it's a playoff game but you could see their outfielder as the game winning homer went over the fence think how in the world did we lose this game

WTF is going on with the Yankees????!!!!! I actually feel sorry for their fans right now. Rest in Peace to Ryne S-can't believe he's gone. BTW I'm a Mets fan.

Can someone more acquainted with the Orioles tell me what they were thinking with Stowers and was this foreseeable

I’m pleased I’ll say that much

Gavin Williams of the Guards no-hitter through 8 against the Mets...top of the order in the ninth...Cleveland hasn't had a no-hitter or perfect game in 44 years

Red Sox Sign Anthony to Eight-Year Deal

The Boston Red Sox signed outfielder Roman Anthony to an eight-year contract extension worth $130 million, effective from 2026. The deal includes a club option and potential escalators that could increase its value to $230 million, keeping Anthony under team control through 2034. This agreement supports the team's efforts to build around its young prospects.

Williams does walk too many guys...if he could cut back on that he may flirt with a perfect game one day...Guards can draft pitchers, too bad they forgot how to do hitters

one of the most insane catches in MLB history...I put it right up there with Kevin Mitchell's bare-handed catch

Were you scared to jinx your boys during this insane run? Please hold off the Astros, highly doubt my Rangers will provide much resistance in last 3.

that bottom of the sixth last night between the Guards and Tigers was one of the strangest half innings I've ever seen...the Guards score three runs with the ball never leaving the infield....two bunts, an infield hit, a balk, a wild pitch, a wild throw, and David Fry getting hit in the face by a Skubal fastball and getting carted off

from 15 games out of first to tied, unbelievable...Houston losing to Oakland helps too

just can't get over this pitching by the Guards, especially since going to the six man rotation....19 games in a row where the starters have given up 2 or less

Flags fly forever.

insane performance...nothing like it in baseball history...I still put Reggie Jackson's three homers to clinch the World Series in a game 6 up there, but Reggie didn't pitch six shutout innings and strike out 10

funny thing is, Ohtani was asked the other day if his return to pitching was affecting his hitting because he was looking increasingly awful at the plate as the playoffs went on...he said no, he was right

I think he has awoken from his hitting slump. The Dodgers were smart to slowly ramp up his pitching volume during the season after surgery.

Dang. 6 shutout innings and 3 home runs.

Springer to the rescue again...brutal for Seattle

and btw, that Capital One ad Fox shoehorned into the ninth was the most pathetic ad in terms of timing in sports history...sad it's come to that

p.s. these ads have gotten bigger now too...they used to put it in the corner of the screen, now it pretty much shares equal space
