Ruud came with the goods and he deserved the win. Terrible service game from Djokovic at the end but I think he will be pleased with his week, and I think he picked his level up in the 2nd and 3rd sets. Good start to his clay season. I think Ruud has a good chance tomorrow.

Djokovic won 11 more points. The way second set ended he could have easily won this had he been little better. Casper gave many chances.

He can be a real master of killing his own momentum. Especially in that service game at the start of the decider.
Serve and ground game had contrasting levels today, both clicked here and there but never simultaneously. Slightly improving every segment, which will come with additional matches, and he will be good to go for the bigger stuff.

Not going to take too much from this just yet. I just hope Ruud wins his first M1000 so we can scrap the 250 memes/comments.
How many more majors do people see Novak winning? His next 3 tournaments will be interesting as I think we will be able to gauge what happens thereafter except for at Wimbledon where he will be favourite unless Alcaraz/Sinner can bring their best. At this point I could see Novak winning 1-2 more but also wouldn't be surprised if he won none. Olympics wise I feel it's more likely the pressure will be too much and he will be shocked into a Bronze or not medalling. I'd like to see him win Gold but with it being on clay and his history at the Games I'm not too sure. Also not sure if winning RG would help with the Olympics pressure or hinder him? It's his last shot there after all so pressure will be even more than at previous games where he caved.
