The big showdown is now set.

Can Lorenzo continue his dream, does he have what it takes to stop the ascension of Alcaraz into the dynasty of clay immortals?

Its Musetti....Its Alcaraz....

The explosive showdown is up next, on Dragon Ball Z!!!

I would rather have seen tstsipas in the final at this rate. no chance Musetti makes this competitive beyond the first 3 games due to his court time

Dude ok we get it. You don't like Musetti. Go tell someone else, it's getting super annoying.

I get that you like TPas' looks better, but he wasn't as good as "Mugsetti" and you're gonna have to deal with that.

It is very cold in MC this week and the clay is slower and lower bouncing. Makes it harder for Carlos to spray errors which is typically the only way he loses. Also harder to hit through his speedy defense while he can outgun anyone. Happy that Musetti is in the final over ADM - like to see how he does with his 1HBH in these conditions where he has time to take big cuts at the ball and maybe bother Carlos a bit more than normal on clay.

Carlitos kinda needs the victory in order to build confidence ahead what is coming over the next months. This could increase Lorenzos chances. Lets see how Carlos manages anxiety tomorrow.

I feel like they both need it

For Alcaraz, losing to a player like Musetto in a Final isn't like losing to Goffin or BvdZ in R2

If Musetti can down Alcaraz in another clay Final, he can go into clay season and RG with deserved confidence

Musetti can frustrate Carlos by giving every ball back and neutralising his ground stokes with his slices and taking pace off his ground strokes , this will be the real first test for Carlos. I am happy that Stef is not in final, Carlos is a nightmare match up for him.

You know I want Musetti to win. But I feel Carlos is just too aggressive to lose. But Musetti has a chance. Ill go with Carlos in 3 but im rooting for Musetti.

Musetti is a tricky match up for Carlos and it won’t be easy, Mugpass is Carlos bunny and Musetti will do a lot better than him. If Carlos is playing close to his best than he will win.

Alcaraz won the last three matches vs Musetti. Musetti has a win on clay in 2022.

A final worth wathcing, we are going to see some nice shots tomorrow for sure

My heart says Musetti. My head says Alcarez. However, the predictions for Musetti v. Beretini and Tsitsipas both said he would lose. Soooo - maybe the impossible.

Musetti 7-5 0-6 7-6

Would have been a LOT more worried if carlos got de minaur in the final. Mugsetti just not that good. 183cm to win his first MC title!

Depends on if his legs are there, to some degree.

Yeah. He could get really down on himself as well, if his shots aren't falling and Carlos is having a good day

Otherwise the game plan is to dink for the fences and rip it by him when he comes in

man, i haven't been following the tournament but that's a really fun final, what a ticket. sounds like lorenzo has played a lot of long matches though? anyway...should be some highlight points for sure in that one.

Musetti is showing what he can do when Djoko does not show up to their meetings
had some pretty consistent results of late. i remember seeing some highlights when he first came on the scene a couple of years ago and thinking he could be really interesting...then saw the hitch in the forehand, wasn't serving great for a while...but he's clearly finding consistent form and importantly representing the 1hbh, big props for keeping the torch lit.

anyone think he could sneak in a major at some point in his career?

Yes, if the stars align.. winning tomorrow would be a big step forward if his legs permit.
