Monte Carlo Doubles: Team USA get revenge over Team Croatia

Not that it is as important as Davis Cup, but the Bryan Twins just pummeled Ancic/Lubicic 6-2,6-1.

I sure wish they could have done that for Davis Cup. What the heck was the big difference? Are the twins that much better on Clay and the Croatians that much worse? I know Lubicic lost badly in the first round in MCarlo, so what gives? Did he play himself out and we won't see anymore good performances from him till grass season?

How were the Bryans able to have such a different result?

You mean the Bryans served better or the Croats served worse or both? Or do you mean "the surface"?

I'm guessing he means the clay neutralized the serves of the Croats.

Byran twins won French Open before. PLus, both Ljubicic and Ancic focus on their singles rather than doubles on ATP. They lost early in singles. They are not in the mood to stick around just for doubles. For top single players, doubles are just for practice purpose, while for Bryan twins, doubles are the only thing.
