Made a quiz to name all of the Monte-Carlo Champions. Since the tournament started in 1897, I made the quiz for the Open Era only (1969~). Give it a try if you think you can name all of the MC Champions in 5 minutes!

I typed in Federer.
Nothing happened.

I sniffled a little.

Also I got 33/47.

38/47 - I maxed out.

Didn't know: 1969, 1970, 1974, 1978, 1984, 1986, 1989, 1990, 2000. I knew 2000 once but forgot about him.

1981 needs correction

In your template you list co-champion twice for 1981. It should instead say
co-runner-up.

Neither Vilas or Connors in the match that was ended by rain are listed in the ATP site as champions of the 1981 tournament. Hence, they are both runner-ups - not champions. (Note: It has been said many times that Connors didn't win a tournament on red-clay - if he was regarded as a champion for 1981 - then people wouldn't be saying this).

90's Clay's results:

1969-1989 Let's be serious, tennis was BARELY PLAYED then

1990 Andrei Chesnokov
1991 Would have DEFINITELY been Pete had he played
1992 Tomas Muster
1993 Sergi Bruguera (Pete beat this guy once you know)
1994 Andriy Medvedev
1995 Thomas Muster
1996 Thomas Muster (obviously, duh)
1997 Marcelo Rios
1998 Carlos Moya
1999 Gustavo Kuerten

2000-2004 Transitional MUGS

2005 Rafael Nadal
2006 Rafael Nadal
2007 Rafael Nadal
2008 Rafael Nadal
2009 Rafael Nadal
2010 Rafael Nadal
2011 Rafael Nadal
2012 Rafael Nadal
2013 Nadal was CLEARLY injured
2014 Some mug

Thanks. You're right.

And good job giving away some answers to the quiz!

Quick Question: Why would you post some of the answers to the quiz and ruin the fun for others. Just curious.

Well obviously you don't read the thread before doing the quiz.

But it didn't even cross my mind to be honest.
