Well, keep in mind that Monte Carlo is 6 hours ahead of EST (Eastern Standard Time). The Ferrer-Nadal match actually begins in Monte Carlo time at 1:30pm. Thus, the match begins in EST at 7:30am.

Then Djokovic/Verdasco takes place afterwards, presumably no earlier than 1.5 hours after 7:30am...thus, 9am EST or thereabouts.

I think it's going to be an interesting match tomorrow for nadal. Ferrer if he plays well can test nadal's fitness on this surface. They are both grinders, there is a possibility that points could get long; if that happens we are going to see if he is going to look winded like he did in that 3rd set vs. kohnschreiber at the australian open. I am looking forward to this match.

Those Super Spaniards really are something on clay: 5 of the 8 quarterfinalists, now 3 of the semifinalists ... quite an achievement of which to be proud!

Sadly, the only Americans Bryan Brothers have been excused, along with my also faves Kubot/Marach. Interesting that the doubles quarterfinalists pick up 16,300 euros and 180 ranking points per team, while Nalbandian who goes out in the singles quarterfinals picks up 53,000 euros and 180 ranking points!
