As we all navigate through these difficult times there is no doubt that we all face economic challenges and this may flow on to consumer spending on tennis and tennis equipment. Currently one could argue that the price of some racquet brands in individual countries are getting quite high and this is particularly quite noticeable in situations where exchange rates, shipping costs and credit card charges are involved. To ensure that sales tick over maybe improving technology or creative marketing and cosmetic options will play a roll. We are seeing some custom options becoming available lately as an example of this. The other option of course is to open up the market to newer brands that are high quality yet lower price points such as your Diadems, Mantis snd Tenex. Alternatively the major brands could release some top value frames. Pro Kennex did this in the 1980’s with the Copper Ace, it was an excellent flexible composite frame with great playability yet proper mass and balance for a players racquet.
