Only two men have defeated Pete Sampras at Wimbledon when he was defending his title there: Richard Krajicek in 1996 and Roger Federer in 2001. Which man earned the more impressive victory over Sampras?

Krajicek by far, beat peak Sampras and in straights. Richard in zone was just scary, shame he was so inconsistent and injury prone.

Loved Fed-Sampras match though (was around that time I became a Fed fan) and think it would have been a great rivalry on any grass (old or modern) prime for prime.
