After trying several polys I came to realize that there is nothing like Luxilon. I'm willing to invest in a reel of either BB or ALU because I love the way they play. They play similar enough for me, so it doesn't matter in terms of which string I get. I just want to save money in the long run.
I'm going to hybrid the Lux with a synthetic gut. I'm NOT a string breaker. It usually takes me a month or more to break a hybrid. So a reel is going to last me a very long time.
Its basically $265 for a 726 foot reel of ALU, or $200 for a 660 foot reel of BB Original. In the long run, am I better off buying the ALU reel?
