Moscow, Vienna and Stockholm fantasy picks

There's over $400,000 in prize money this week but you'd have to win all three tournaments to claim it, not so easy.

I have Davydenko and Safin in the Moscow final, Baghdatis and Roddick in Vienna and Nadal and Blake in Stockholm, but I have to pick all second tier players so I have someone for Madrid and Spain.

For example, Youzhny, Mathieu, Kunitsyn, Gonzales and such.

Draws and picks are here.

Rafael Nadal
Andy Roddick
Fernando Gonzalez
Mikhail Youzhny
Tommy Haas
Max Mirnyi
Marat Safin
Robin Soderling
Erlich & Ram

There's my team this week, will be out of Soderling now but he's not that important anyway, still have 2 picks for Roddick and Safin after this week, 1 for Nadal and Gonzo, and 2-3 for the rest.

I decided to use my two remaining Nadal picks on the Masters but Federer is likely to win those.

It's a tough decision for Ljubicic too. Use him in Vienna and Basel and get a total of over $100,000 or use him in the Madrid and Paris and see him get to the quarters or semis at most.

It really depends on the draw of those last two masters events; Nadal has no Blake or Berdych on his side of the draw this week and should have a pretty easy road to the final. Ljuby..just doesn't seem to have the extra gear to beat the best players and has more potential to get more $$$ in Madrid and Paris like last year. Blake and Berdych in the same half so that side is pretty unpredictable in Vienna. Potential Roddick vs. Gasquet second round which could also make or break a team next week. Moscow full of dangerous Russians (of course) and all of them are pretty unpredictable. Very important week down the stretch.
-Also important week for me to gain ground on Mullets Forever and his $350,000+ lead over me in the TW league :)

Blake has beaten Nadal both times they've played and Nadal is a bit shaky on hard court this year but I'm counting on patriotism to get Nadal the Madrid title.

Roddick has a good indoor record when he's not injured so I'm putting money on him too though I do have one more Federer pick. But that's only because three times this year I've picked my draws, posted them, sent an email out to my subleague then ...forgotten to submit my team!

Baghdatis is the dark horse in the last few weeks depending on his shoulder. I don't expect Berdych to repeat his Paris win or even semis appearance.

Nice tennis diary, nrota. I found it funny that you write so much about the fantasy contest and you forgot to submit your team. Good luck this week.
