That doesn't make his decision to skip Roland Garros look very smart.Unless Kyrgios can get to #32 in the next 2 weeks, it's not happening. Seeds go to the top 32 in rankings, then they can be shuffled due to the formula. #33 isn't getting seeded even if he won Wimbledon 2 years ago.
That means he needs to get a final in Halle or Queens to get seeded.
I guess that seeing as any seeding he had would have been a low one it doesn't make a lot of difference. The 32nd seed is only protected up to round 3. Should he beat a big name in an early round, I suspect his aim would quickly change to winning the tournament.Since he only cares about playing the big guys and not about actually going deep, unseeded might be where he wants to be.
