Which players have displayed the most dominant performances to win a slam title in your opinion?
Here are my top five:
1. Borg - 78 RG
2. Nadal - 08 RG
3. Borg - 80 RG
4. Federer - 07 AO
5. Mcenroe - 84 Wimbledon

Edit: Honorable mentions:
Nadal - 10 RG
Agassi- 03 AO
Federer - 05 Wimbledon
Djokovic - 11 AO
*Also switched Nadal and Borg's 08 and 78 runs from one another.

Agassi's 2003 AO run to the title was pretty dominant. Only dropped a set in the 3rd round to Escude. Otherwise not really troubled at all, and thrashed Schuettler in the final. Borg dropped even less games than Nadal in his 78 RG run as well...

Good points. I would agree that Borg's 78 run was arguably more dominant but I don't know about agassi's 03 run. It certainly was dominant but I would put that in as an honorable mention.

Another good one, but not quite as dominant as the others IMO. I guess I'll put that in the honorable mentions too.
1 Bjorn Borg* 1978 Roland Garros 127-32 79.9%
2 Bjorn Borg* 1980 Roland Garros 126-38 76.8%
3 Rafael Nadal* 2008 Roland Garros 128-41 75.7%
4 Guillermo Vilas* 1977 Roland Garros 128-43 74.9%
5 Guillermo Vilas* 1977 US Open 106-41 72.1%
6 Andre Agassi* 2003 Australian 121-48 71.6%
7 Ivan Lendl* 1986 Roland Garros 133-54 71.1%
8 Bjorn Borg* 1981 Roland Garros 135-55 71.1%
9 Rafael Nadal* 2012 Roland Garros 130-53 71.0%

Really happy to see Bjorn's '78 RG correctly placed at #1. I'd put Nadal '08 RG in second place and Mac's '84 Wimbledon in third.

A Roddick final there would have been epic but Andy ran out of gas vs Schuettler after his R16 comeback from 0-2 vs Youzhny and the marathon QF vs El Aynaoui.
