I mention it in the first post in this thread.Has Fed's comeback from 0-40 in the 3rd set of the 2008 Wimb F been mentioned yet? He gets broken there, there is no Greatest Match of All Time extravaganza.
Fun to watch.triple match point down hold by Uchijima vs Danilovic at 0-40, 5-6 in the 3rd set, 1st round of USO. She saved 7 match points in total.

Pete didn't.I know Pete did it at least once against Fed in their lone match, but it's been a while since I've revisited it so I can't quite pinpoint exactly when. (BTW the commentary by Mac was pretty funny. After Pete fired IIRC 3 straight aces Mac chuckled, "3 down, 2 more to go.") Pete went on to win the game but not of course the match.
I feel like the recurring theme of this match was Federer doing basically everything well, especially returning, and Pete's serve and grit basically keeping him in it. Hit a lot of basic returns (not bad, but basic), volleys were pretty mid, although he hit some amazing ones in key moments - an absolute bullet in the 4th tiebreaker that prompted Mac to say "THAT's a champion's volley - and of course, his overhead was very off. He missed a slam dunk, and missed one to save a break point in the 3rd as well.I know Pete did it at least once against Fed in their lone match, but it's been a while since I've revisited it so I can't quite pinpoint exactly when. Which match do you mean? Murray and Federer met in the 2013 Australian Open semi final (Murray won 6-4, 6-7, 6-3, 6-7, 6-2) and in the 2014 Australian Open quarter final (Federer won 6-3, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3).Andy Murray fought back from 0–40 against Roger Federer to hold serve and level the score at one–all in the fourth set of the 2014 Australian Open semi-finals.

I believe this is the 2016 QF, the final they played was 2017 in which Fed won in straights.Federer saves his serve from 0-40 in the 7th game of the 3rd set of the 2018 Wimbledon final against Cilic, while down two sets. Amid a Davis Cup atmosphere in which the Croatian’s mistakes are cheered, Federer breaks Cilic’s serve in the next game.

Djokovic then showcased why he is the champion he is in a tense decider. The 101-time tour-level titlist continued to swing away in the fifth set and saved all eight break points he faced, including three from 0/40 at 4-3.
